Walk of Legends

See Eureka from the ground level and put yourself in the Walk of Legends! Take a seat on the iconic Green Benches (locally known as the “Spit and Whittle Benches”) at the Greenwood Hotel to observe community members strolling past. Then drop your gaze to sidewalk level to study the Walk of Legends.

Engraved 16” x 16” terra cotta red granite tiles march around the hotel displaying brands, logos and identities of businesses, ranches and families with ties to Greenwood County. Donations raised from these tiles have helped the Greenwood Preservation Society keep the doors of the Greenwood Hotel open for community activities and business gatherings. With your donation, you will know you helped continue this legacy for future generations.

For a $500 donation, you will receive an engraved tile with your brand, logo or name in the Walk of Legends as a symbol of your dedication to the future of our community. Contact your tax professional to determine if this donation to our 501c3 organization may be tax deductible. They make great gifts for hard-to-buy-for people.
